Had a metting in York all morning and finished about half 1 which was pretty conveniant so made the extra 50 minute drive over to the East coast at Bridlington.

First of all went to Brildington but no one out there so eventually found Fraisethorpe where there were 10 kiters already out goin straight out to sea with the cross shore wind. There was a fair few windsurfers out as well. Got chatting to one local windsurfer guy who was explaining the potential of the site.

I was here for kitesurfing so pumped the kite up, got the wetsuit on and was just about to walk down to the beach when I realised I'd forgotten my Harness. DOH! big time so no chance of goin out. Ashame really cos it coulda been a decent session.
Very impressed with the place. Nice big long sandy beach backed by small 10 foot cliffs with loadsa grassy areas for rigging and parking. behind the small cliffs. Definately have to head back some day and one local guy told me the site has excellent wave sailing in Westerly off shore winds.
